This spectacular and unique lodge is located on a beautiful 1,600 ha (3954 acre) sheep and cattle station that borders Te Urewera National Park. Built from native timbers, the lodge glows with natural warmth and features two bedrooms that share a bathroom and a private separate wing. Guests can enjoy multitude activities on the farm, including fishing, hunting, rafting, horse riding, birdwatching and farm walks.

Situated on the water's edge of Lake Whakamarino, which means "tranquillity", guests can have a peaceful stay, from relaxing at the lodge to exploring the surrounding natural environment and the many activities it affords.
